Well, as you know, guests have to make a decision as to whether to book your place based on what they see in your listing: photos, description, ratings and reviews.
The photos, in particular, will help them connect emotionally with your space, and it's the little things that give your place its charm, and perhaps, quirkiness, that might make the difference between two similar listings..

Beautiful, clean pillows or cushions on a bed
Stylish kitchen appliances (toaster, kettle etc...)
So if you're shopping for a new toaster, don't go for the plain white one, get the retro-looking one and while you're there, grab the matching kettle! Who knows, it might just be what makes someone choose your listing over another.
