The look and feel of our work

Today’s blog is about our style, how we shoot, and how we like to deliver our images.

We love to make your home shine with the standout imagery we create.

We are proud to think of every shoot we do as an editorial project: we love images brilliantly bright, symmetrical, warm in tone and with a subtle contrast to create an inviting representation of the home that welcomes potential guests and buyers.

Let’s define a few terms that are core to our aesthetic look:

Contrast

Tonal refers to the difference in tones from the lightest tone to the darkest tone; in other words, the difference in tones from white to gray to black.

There is a subtle, gradual contrast between the left and right side of this photo.

Exposure

The amount of light reaching a photographic film or electronic image sensor, as determined by shutter speed, lens aperture and scene luminance.

The right exposure allows the view outside the window to be captured.

Rule of thirds

General guideline which applies to the process of composing visual images such as designs, films, paintings, and photographs. ... The horizon sits at the horizontal line dividing the lower third of the photo from the upper two-thirds.

The composition of this photo follows the rule of thirds and feels balanced.

We will provide you with crisp imagery feeling consistent in light, colour and composition.
